There are much better phones than this
I will start with the positives: The camera is really great and never a disappointment. The screen looks crisp and the phone was pretty quick with everything - that's about all I liked about it. From the get go, I didn't like the aspect ratio of this phone. It's too long and too slim, really strange choice for dimensions, but each to their own. The fingerprint sensor was awful. It never worked right despite many attempts to register my fingerprint until one day it just stopped working altogether for no reason whatsoever. After having the phone for just a year it started lagging when I was typing and I had to write really slowly for my keystrokes to register. My old Galaxy S8 that I had for over 6 years performs better in this than the Xperia. Xperia really lacks a lot of system functionality that a lot of others have. The Android version is really bare and its lacking even such a basic thing as a preinstalled calculator. The phone doesn't let you easily choose between 5G and other network options. You have to enter a special code to access a hidden menu.
