I've already had my phone replaced due to a faulty back light and the same thing has happened yet again. The phone is gone for 2 weeks. A huge disruption to my business and many hours of my time backing up and transferring files from one phone to another. I recommend replacing this phone with something else , because as long as Samsung will not admit to this being a systemic issue with this model(and permanently fix the issue), every time the phone is replaced, it will have the same fault re-occur yet again! Absolutely insulting the way that Samsung treat their customers. I will be requesting a full refund and never purchase this phone again. My hard earned money spent for a so called 'tough military standard' phone...and they don't even offer spare batteries online or from retailers.... or even make a stand alone spare battery charger like they did with the S5 or even offer a factory POGO phone charging dock. Why then build a phone with POGO pins and removable battery in the first place??? Never again. What a waste of my valuable TIME, my LIFE HOURS and my MONEY!!! An otherwise good phone concept and experience sullied due to poor customer care by SAMSUNG.

This phone does what a phone is supposed to do well...you can talk on it! It has great sound quality for talking, I use a Beats headset for music. They were very easy to pair. I chose this model because I have an MVNO carrier that runs off Verizon. This is my second Android experience. My Nokia 7.1 Wasn't compatible with the MVNO carrier. Any complaints I might have relating to Android can't be blamed on Samsung. I've been an Apple user since they came out with the first iPhone. I don't play a lot of games. The two top reason's I bought this Android was that it is the only smartphone I've found with removable battery & expandable storage. I put a 128gb chip in it. Those are my two biggest complaints about iPhone. you can't replace the battery or expand the memory. You're stuck with whatever you pick up front. I understand all the cell phone manufacturers are trending toward non-removable batteries and you can't expand the memory either. When your battery no longer takes a charge, you either take it to a repair shop or buy a new one. Every phone I've had eventually gets where it won't take a full charge. They seem to be following the auto industry standard of planned obsolescence .

This is overall a very good phone.
Overall it's a awesome phone. Well built very durable and good for construction or rugged terrain. I do wish it had more ram and a more powerful processor.

I'm hugely disappointed that they use PWM for this display. Shame on you, Samsung

I had high hopes for this one, but it seems like a step back from the S8 Active all round. I know it's positioned as a mid-ranger, but there are $300 phones with much better performance and battery life, so it should be doing more to compete. Such a shame, because the form factor and ruggedness are great. I even prefer IPS at this screen size because I'm sensitive to pentile effects. So close...
