Pixel 8 is a great phone.
I've been using pixel 8 for a while now and I can say that it's great phone. Even after 1 year after it's release it holds up to new flagships very well but in camera section it's better than most of the flagships today. Battery wise it's not great but it's average which is no problem for me because I don't use this phone heavily. Tho it's weak in raw power of Soc (compared to s24 ) it's still good phone to be used every day .

I bought the phone 4 months ago.
This phone is really good: it holds a charge for a long time, especially when playing heavy games. The camera takes excellent pictures, and no bugs have been detected. This phone will be serviced for a long time, and updates will be released for it. When choosing a device, this is undoubtedly an important factor, especially if you are looking for a reliable and high-quality phone that will last for many years.

I wanted to like this phone
Coming from a Samsung s10 plus. I liked the bang for your buck. Software is great but the build quality is terrible. I also liked the 7 yr software updates it comes with. Camera is great. Battery keeps overheating when fast charging. The monitor suddenly turns green every now and then because of static electricity and you need to ground it. The screen makes a hollow sound when tapping on it.

Disappointed after Huawei P20Pro knowledge
Google pixel 8pro is a big disappointment for many reason, but for me the main reason is that it was a promising quality and knowledge in all reviews,2023december was top rated phone,with great photography features. Well,the knowledge is nowhere compared with Huawei P20Pro,not even talk about 30pPro. You cannot control anything really,the AI taking over everything,thinking what best for you,your opinion doesn't metter,your style doesn't count. Selfie camera is so close even with 0.7distance only your face can be captured,a family of 4definitely not fitting in. The pro function so limited that after a very short time I let it go because just made me angry I ever spent this money on this phone During the edit you cannot overwrite the images,the edit has a lots of limits,whatever advertised having in is very partial knowledge,again AI taking over. You cannot organise your photos in folders by theme or events,or months,phone missing a lots of everyday used thinks like todolist,notepad,so if you not paying for another app you don't have it,or again very limited. The screen close not that sensible like the Huawei 20pro was.i was able to edit lightroom images with very fine details,not this is impossible and not a calibration issue, simply not good enough. Is big and chunky and because all the phones are now fixed you cannot really see how much the camera section sticking out,but is a lot.

Horrible defective phone
Google pixel 8 is faulty. Google knew it. That's why they increased the warranty from 2 to 3 years. And they had to offer the pixel 8A. Apps freezing, battery overheat hardware full of problems mostly related to pixel that result in a line on the right of the screen and a green pixeling over the screen. Not what you expect from a 900€ phone used for less than 6 months. Camera not performing as promised, big problem with connection with some 5g and with low signal on 4g. Different phone same area even older work no problems. Completely disgusted
