This is the best balanced CPU ever.
This is a great chip for a upper midrange build, I use it with a 7800XT at 1440p, and it was great. The energy efficiency is also decent. It's very fast too.

Ok I can tell u my honest opinion from someone who actually owns both my girlfriend got me this 7800.3d when I bought the 7700x and forgot to tell her which I should have they have both been played at 1440p and 4k few times and both with my 5070ti anyway…. I bought my 7700x for 195$ yes seriously dudes I running 55 fps on path tracing and over a hundred about at 1440 night ray tracing and dude the 7800 is 300-400 $ some idiots on Mercari and eBay even try to sell over 500 I don’t know who they think they r but that another story anyway it’s act only 10-13 fps higher im sry and perfmance better in my opinion but for this much more over 100$ this a straight robbery if u ask me…..7700x all around just better people don’t b stupid

Good CPU if bought under 350. Needs an AIO cooler!
Coupled with a 3070 : I get about 1700 fps in minecraft with optimisation mods, and 80 fps with shaders and 64 chunks + distant horizons at 512 chunks. GTA V gets 140 fps Fortnite is at 200 fps Overall very good CPU With a MSI mag coreliquid 360 v2, the cpu gets at max 70°C/158°F

Amazing CPU for gaming and other demanding tasks!
This CPU from AMD is an amazing CPU for less than $350 (When I purchased it), I will say that the temps were a bit high, so I got a new cooler for under $60 and did some bios tweaks, and now I idle at 40c and under full load hardly see above 80c. Overall, I have no regrets with this CPU, and it is amazing value! Definitely consider the 7700x if you're looking for a very fast CPU that is under $350!
